- The road ferry departures are ...10.30, 11.30 ja 12.30...

- Let´s try not to eat much in the morning, because starting 10:00 therestaurant Iltalento serves us a joint breakfast-lunch 7,50 eur per person. Elk or salmon soup, bread etc, non-alcoholic driks. We suppose everybody participates, if not let us know before start of the raid.
- there is an emu farm at Hailuoto, amazing?
- the area is getting more inhabited now, but there are many possiblities for minor roads or maybe just hurry up to reach Vehu for a few days of relaxation after the raid. - Vehu is located in the middle of nowhere; be careful or you drive past in the dark without noticing anything

Coming from Soini along road 7140, drive 28 km South and there is a sign to right for "RÄMÄLÄ" and the schoolhouse is at this crossing.

Or coming from Karstula along road 58, drive 27 km
toward Multia. Turn right to Soini (road 7140), continue 5.5 km, turn to
left and you have arrived to the old school house.

- There are no shops nor petrol stations in Vehu. Wood heated saunas and "huusi" (loo/outhouse) available. Beds available indoors in the schoolhouse. Common meals and breakfast are being planned. Sauna and nice fireplace outdoors.

- MiniRaid Vehu was the mini scale Raid Laponie memorial meeting which also ignited the idea of Raid Poronkusema. It was arranged three times starting in 2006 so this will be the 4th one. Poronkusema group will practically fill up the whole schoolhouse, but other 2CV friends have been invited to meet us so let's see. A heated tent can be put up if a lot of additional participants appear.ACCOMMODATION AT:
